With the aim of improving its production processes, Dinema Electronics bought a new optical inspection machine for its production line.
It's a OMRON VT-S720 - Automatic post-reflow inspection system for electronic cards to be placed in line or in automatic island with the following characteristics:
1 3 CCD camera with telecentric lenses, 4 cameras for viewing angle, resolution image 15 um, 01005 inspected components package, 0.3 mm pitch, any angle (0.1° resolution), identified welding defects presence/absence, misalignment, tombstone, pillowing, rotations, polarity etc, 2D code reading, data storage server, data collection software and statistical analysis of process defects.
